Director of Strategic Initiatives

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Treasury for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale, cross-regional consulting initiatives spanning both business and technology areas.
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior executives (ELT/ELT+1), guiding decision-making in both individual and group settings.
• Develop and sustain strong networks of senior-level client relationships across the organization.
• Deliver thought leadership and deep expertise across key consulting disciplines, including operating models, technology, data, regulatory, and strategic transformation.
• Design and oversee highly complex programs, while managing execution delivered by other members of the Internal Consulting Office (ICO).
• Proactively identify challenges and address them with authority and credibility in executive-level forums.
• Advance the Internal Consulting function by driving key strategic initiatives and securing executive alignment.
• Promote a team culture centered on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor, coach, and support the growth of colleagues, with a demonstrated ability to help others realize their potential.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in management consulting or enterprise transformation roles, with a preference for financial services (particularly asset management).
• Demonstrated success in building, leading, and scaling consulting teams within complex, global, and matrixed organizations.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services sector, with strong expertise in asset management.
• Established executive presence with the ability to engage, influence, and build trust at the most senior levels.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Confident communicator with the credibility to influence C-suite and senior leadership decisions.
• Skilled in creating executive-level deliverables and presentations (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint).
