Senior Wealth Operations Analyst

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Senior Wealth Operations Analyst for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed review of loan/security documentation and wealth management account records against standardized checklists (16 required elements per file).
  • Validate that documents satisfy regulatory and internal requirements for moving relationships to the US entity.
  • Work from electronic feeds and scanned hard copies (perform quality checks on OCR/scanned images).
  • Identify, document, and prioritize data gaps; coordinate with Financial Advisors to request missing or corrected documentation (internal-only communications — no client contact).
  • Coach and review work completed by Wealth Management Operations Analysts; perform quality assurance and final sign-off on complex or escalated files.
  • Liaise with Compliance, Legal, and Project teams on regulatory implications and remediation plans; escalate issues when required.
  • Improve/process checklists and contribute to standard operating procedures for consistent documentation review.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and data security when handling PII and sensitive legal documents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in wealth operations, loan documentation review, trust/estate operations, or secured lending documentation in a bank or wealth management environment.
  • Strong understanding of loan documents and security interests (personal loans, business loans, collateral pledges) and wealth management account types.
  • Experience interpreting legal entity structures (individuals, revocable/irrevocable trusts, corporations, LLCs, partnerships).
  • Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated critical thinking/problem solving.
  • Strong written communication and ability to clearly document findings and remediation requests to advisors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and document management systems; experience with OCR/scanned document workflows.
