Treasury Sales Associate (Atlanta, GA)

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Treasury Sales Associate (Atlanta, GA) for a Direct Hire opportunity with a financial services client.


  • Establish and execute a sales strategy to generate new deposits and new clients.
  • Build and maintain client relationships through a variety of proactive sales and service activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer’s financial wellbeing.
  • Positions the bank’s solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with senior management and bank directors to identify leads, set up calls and meet with potential customers.
  • Ability to identify and actively pursue leads to bring in business.
  • Ability to actively prospect for business in the community.
  • Conduct sales presentations, negotiate pricing, and provide cost analysis.
  • Complete necessary documentation, implementation of bank systems, and customer setup of deposit accounts and Treasury Management products and services.
  • Provide excellent customer service through listening to customers, anticipating their needs, and recommending financial services.
  • Respond professionally and accurately to customer service inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Develop commercial relationships through targeted prospecting, external networking, and internal referrals.
  • Utilize goal-based planning to meet client needs.
  • Participate in sales meetings and communicate with internal stakeholders within assigned network on a consistent basis.
  • Effectively collaborate with, coach, and build rapport with Treasury and Deposit staff to maximize effectiveness of referrals.
  • Facilitate training opportunities for bank personnel regarding Treasury Management products.
  • Partner with Commercial and SBA teammates to develop relationships, client introductions and referrals.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and for referrals through interactions with clients and familiarity with their accounts.
  • Provide proactive relationship management to clients and utilize relevant systems required to effectively manage client relationships.
  • Communicate regularly with the CEO, CLO and Group Operations lead regarding client interactions and opportunities.
  • Participate in community affairs to increase the bank’s visibility and develop new business opportunities.
  • Complete required training in a timely manner.
  • Proactively seek other training opportunities appropriate to the position.
  • Support the development and maintenance of proper procedures, policies, and systems to assure compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Mitigate risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university with focus on Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Typically requires 5+ years of sales and related experience in banking, sales, and client management.
