Audit Quality Assurance Analyst

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Audit Quality Assurance Analyst for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with the expansion and completion of quality assurance reviews for internal audit, including audit workpapers, project files, risk assessments, and reporting the results.
• Examine and report on the internal audit activity to ensure compliance with Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards, industry, regulatory, department, corporate standards and guidance, and Code of Ethics.
• Develops reports regarding the effectiveness of the internal audit department.
• Fosters valuable staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings and trainings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year accredited college).
• 4+ years of related internal audit experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of internal audit practices.
• Knowledgeable on industry best practices.
• High level of tact
• Capacity to communicate complex and potentially sensitive issues to various levels of management.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• TeamMate + preferred.
• Professional certification (CIA or CPA preferred; or ability to obtain within 24 months of hire).
