Professional Practices Audit Analyst

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Professional Practices Audit Analyst for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains methodology, process, workflow, and procedure documentation.
• Works with Professional Practices Manager to determine updates and implementation.
• Serves as liaison with external stakeholders, third party vendors, regulators, other departments within First Horizon.
• Inspects and reports on the internal audit activity to ensure compliance with industry, regulatory, department, corporate standards/guidance, Code of Ethics, and IIA Standards.
• Serves as a knowledge resource for systems, processes, workflow, and procedures for the Internal Audit group in conjunction with colleagues on the PPG team.
• Works with the database administrator on BI Dashboard reporting.
• Maintains the AAS sharepoint sites.
• Builds and maintains productive staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings/trainings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year accredited college).
• 2+ years of related auditing experience.
• Deep understanding of internal audit practices.
• Understanding of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards.
• Keen analytical, problem-solving, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Strong skills in conflict resolution, auditor’s judgment, risk-based auditing, and sound decision making.
