Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Jr. Banker, Payments Technology for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Sell complex payment system and treasury management solutions to CFS bankers to drive deposits and fees for clients in Payments Technology group.
• Oversee complex implementations and on-boarding of Payments Technology clients.
• Strong understanding of bank operations and systems as well as treasury integrations to support creative development and solutions. 
• Payments expertise across the key payment channels including ACH, instant payments, wires and card products.
• Work operations and CFS operations or admin to develop new payment product solutions including next generation payment systems – RTP, FedNow and virtual account processing.
• Partner with product teams to coordinate next generation payment needs and develop on-going payments strategy.
• Join client and payment industry conferences to maintain cutting edge knowledge of payment industry developments.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Payment and Technology clients on treasury related needs and services.
• Serves as a member on outside payment councils and committees.
• Lead sales activities of Bin Sponsorship programs.
• Coordinate Bin Sponsorship implementation activities with Program Management team.
• Participates in cross functional teams related to process improvement or new payment and treasury products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Business, Economics or other related field. 
• 8 years of complex treasury management, product management and payments experience within banking or payments industry.  
• Knowledge of financial and accounting concepts to evaluate financial models, client audits and credit and operational risks.
• Understanding of Operating and Financial Risk Management.
• Fundamental understanding of bank operations and systems and treasury integrations to support creative development and solutions. 
• Strong Payments expertise across the channels.
