Escrow Manager – Loan Insurance

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking an Escrow Manager – Loan Insurance for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Manages the Loan Escrow, Taxes & Insurance Team.
• Assesses the quality of team’s performance, incoming volumes, productivity, capacity, SLAs and metrics.
• Ensures the team consistently meets or exceeds SLAs.
• Sets departmental goals that are measurable.
• Responsible for solving complex work problems and tending to customer complaints.
• Reviews and maintains departmental reports to identify trends or areas of concern.
• Identifies business process or system improvements that streamline operations and updates procedures accordingly.
• Responds to all inquiries from lenders and other bank personnel in a timely manner.
• Manages vendors to ensure performance is in support of the bank’s goals and growth strategies.
• Stays up to date with industry trends and regulations.
• Identifies changes affecting the department and notifies internal staff.
• Responds to audit requests and prepares findings.
• Fosters relationships with internal teams.
• Recruits, trains, develops and retains a highly proficient, adequately staffed team.
• Ability effectively communicate through one on one meetings and regular department meetings.
• Creates an engaged workforce by fostering collaboration within their team and their internal and external customers/partners.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a loan operations or equivalent related role is required.
• Previous Management or Supervisor experience is required.
• Knowledgeable in loan documentation and servicing functions including consumer, commercial and mortgage loans.
• Experience with FiServ systems software is preferred.
• Skilled at creating and managing spreadsheets.
• Flexibility in work schedule during peak production period is critical in this position.
