New Loan Specialist

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a New Loan Specialist for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Review loan documentation within Nautilus and verify accuracy against data in the MSP system of record.
• Ensure all new loans are boarded correctly and within established timelines.
• Communicate and collaborate with colleagues across the department and financial centers to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all loan documentation handling.
• Support other loan onboarding or data integrity tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in mortgage or consumer lending and/or banking operations is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
