Administrative Assistant

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

  • Use the Oracle system and communicating via email and phone to follow up/track invoices to determine the reason for approval/rejections and ensuring proper payment (pushing the process forward).
  • Receive deliveries and shipments, greeting guests at the front desk
  • Provide administrative support on other special or reoccurring projects as needed
  • Handling office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies.
  • Screening phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate party.
  • Using computers to generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, create presentations, and conduct research.

Qualifications:

  • High School or Equivalent.
  • Excellent telephone and messaging skills.
  • Strong written, oral, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
