Administrative Support Specialist

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking an Administrative Support Specialist for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze and prepare data.
  • Develop new work methods.
  • Research data for special projects.
  • Complete complex reports on a periodic basis or for special projects maintaining department records.
  • Communicate with all levels of management both inside and outside the company.
  • Handle routine situations with minimal direction regarding tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Administrative experience.
  • Some college preferred.
  • Knowledge of intermediate and advanced software functions, such as MS Word, MS Excel.
  • Minimum typing speed of 60 WPM.
  • Knowledge of office machines with experience in e-mail systems.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure, ability to work independently.
  • Excellent spelling, punctuation, proofreading, and grammatical skills.
