Agency Services- Deal Closer

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Agency Services- Deal Closer for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Interact daily with internal and external clients.
• Collection of required documents for deal closings including: Amendments, Refinancing, Agency Assumption, and assignments pertaining to transfers from bilateral to syndicated status.
• Review of attorney prepared loan documents ensuring the bank can meet all operating requirements prior to closing.
• Attend deal closing calls and ability to speak to any operational issues within documentation.
• Request for CUSIP.
• Input new or amended deal information into Loan IQ including: Creation of deal summary sheet for handoff to servicing team, input of doc tracking information, and set up of agency site on SyndTrak.
• Movement of cash on day of closing.
• Reconcile outstanding cash related to closing.
• Participate in post-closing call handoff with client, deal team, PM and servicing contact.
• Hold post-close meeting with servicing team for operational hand-off.
• Provide ongoing closing support after loan is booked and back up support to servicing team when needed.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA College Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years in a Syndicated Loan Operations role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, work environment.
