Business Process Consultant
Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Business Process Consultant for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.
- Responsible for analysis and evaluation of operational business processes and development of system recommendations to meet requirements.
- Translates high-level business requirements into functional specifications for business application development.
- Interviews end users to obtain and document the detailed business requirements for projects.
- Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for technology integration.
- Combines understanding of IT and business processes to recommend solutions.
- Assignments will include process definition, evaluation of integration requirements, and implementation of systems, tools, and processes to meet business and user requirements.
- Experience with documentation of business processes, data mapping, and reporting desired.
- Experience in developing use cases, use case model, supplementary requirements, and business rules is essential.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills are needed.
- Expert knowledge of project management and flowcharting tools and processes.
- Prior experience with business integrations is a plus
- 1-3 years of Business Process Consultant experience.
