EVP, Treasury and Payments Technology

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a EVP, Treasury and Payments Technology for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Treasury and Payments business line leadership, products, and processes.
  • Create long-term relationships with business and technology colleagues to realize maximum results.
  • Provide technology leadership and guidance to the selection, implementation, and/or operationalization of treasury banking and payments technologies through cloud SaaS providers or internally developed applications.
  • Partner to create line of business technology roadmaps, product opportunities, and market-differentiating solutions.
  • Drive technological strategy for real time payments capabilities.
  • Develop the bank’s strategic approach and utilization of blockchain technology specific to Treasury and Payments technology.
  • Assist with vendor management activities with assigned vendors for the applications owned/supported including, but not limited to, upgrades, enhancements, implementations, customer impacts, vendor oversight, and management.
  • Develop keen understanding of Business Product Leadership priorities such that technology solution delivery is facilitated through agile or waterfall practices respective to initiative complexity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience required.
  • 5+ years of proven industry solution or custom developed technology delivery and implementation experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Commercial Banking, Treasury, and/or Payment Services preferred.
  • 3+ years of direct resource management experience, including maximizing team-based results, required.
  • Strong aptitude and interest in Treasury and Payments industry trends and solutions while understanding transaction life cycles within ACH, check, money transfer, and card solutions.
  • Knowledge of web applications, SaaS cloud computing, database architectures, agile development, product management and quality assurance processes.
  • Skilled in crafting effective communications, both in writing and verbally.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office to create memos, presentations, spreadsheets, and flow charts.
