Loan Operations Processor

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Loan Operations Processor for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all lines of business by booking and servicing new and existing loans.
  • Set up loan and line of credit accounts on the Bank’s servicing systems.
  • Prepared loan files and submit them to banks or mortgage lenders
  • Ensure all documents and signatures are in order prior to submission.
  • Interview, assess, and researching loan applicants.
  • Research applicant credit status and current financial position.
  • Perform various types of maintenance on accounts accurately and within specified timelines.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in loan servicing a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.
