Paralegal

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Paralegal for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all CIB lending contracts with LIBOR benchmark reference rates are remediated.
• Review credit agreements in order to identify the presence or absence of an amendment that states how such agreement will revert to an alternative index upon the cessation of LIBOR.
• Capture certain data elements necessary for review by the tax department.
• Such information will be loaded into the CIB Lending SharePoint site for use by interested parties.
• review and analysis of existing executed documentation preparation and in some cases negotiation of remediation documentation preparation of internal documentation for internal and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Provide project management assistance documentation review preparation analysis and remediation and provide other legal support to Wealth Management

Qualifications:

• High School or Equivalent.
• Familiarity in the review and knowledge of the structure of corporate credit agreements.
• Strong understanding of Financial Services.
• Understanding of regulations in banking.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
