Senior Copywriter

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Senior Copywriter for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development of copy for the First Horizon brand across multiple channels.
  • Work to ensure messaging is in line with the company’s brand tone and voice.
  • As a key member of the team, work to ensure brand style is maintained throughout all marketing material, which includes consultation and review of creative partners.
  • Copy support includes development of print ads, direct mail, merchandising, email, website and social media.
  • In all instances, work directly with the marketing team members to develop copy that meets strategic objectives of a specific project.
  • Work with legal and compliance to ensure content is compliant.
  • Represent the Creative team in meetings to discuss and scope requirements of project requests.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years in marketing or advertising role.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in copywriting role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and strict attention to detail is imperative.
  • Experience translating business objectives and brand positioning into distinctive messaging.
