                  SVP, Payment Technology Lead
Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a SVP, Payment Technology Lead for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow deposits and fee income by developing new and existing Payments Technology client relationships.
  • Ability to work with C-Suite in the client base.
  • Work with cross-functional business partners (risk management, operations, compliance, and treasury management) to execute new and existing client opportunities.
  • Maximize portfolio profitability through appropriate pricing and cross-selling of the Bank’s products and services to a nationwide client base. 
  • Work with risk management / credit administration partner(s) to complete financial analysis and the underwriting and closing of new opportunities.
  • Develop and mentor junior members of the Payments Technology Banking team.
  • Negotiate terms of client contracts and master services agreements.
  • Manage lending and non-lending credit exposure and present credits for approval to appropriate levels of authority within the bank as required.
  • Work with risk management teammates to monitor client financial status and compliance.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with decision makers at targeted companies and clients (CEO, CFO, VP Finance.).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Economics.
  • 15 years+ of leadership and team building in mid-sized to large corporate banking with experience handling a national client base. 
  • Strong experience working with complex treasury services and treasury services teammates.
  • Capital markets experience (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of compliance regimes in banks particularly with KYC and BSA.
  • Proficiency with PC software including Microsoft Excel.
