Product Manager, Credit Cards

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Product Manager, Credit Cards for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end product experience including research & development to profitability.
• Oversee risk and control systems to ensure all significant risks have been identified, assessed, and appropriately managed and mitigated.
• Examine performance trends, customer behavior and program performance for the continued growth and profitability of payments products, while minimizing risk.
• Handling product operations and compliance to ensure exceptional customer experience when processing applications, payments and support.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive delivery on performance commitments, fraud prevention, operations, finance, technology, marketing, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor (4-year college) degree and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5+ years of experience in banking, credit card services, or financial management.
• Deep knowledge of card banking products and channels.
• Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, underwriting process, and regulatory standards.
• Understand and embrace the importance of the quality and accuracy of data and information.
• Proven critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and accountability for achieving result
