Data Entry Clerk

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Data Entry Clerk for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter data into systems according to team production and accuracy standards.
  • Examine data records for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.
  • Inspect and record incoming data for completeness and correct coding.
  • Identify and flag potential processing issues.
  • Meet or exceed minimum productivity benchmarks while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth data workflow and issue resolution.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of data entry experience or experience in a similar administrative or clerical role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, data entry software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
