Commercial Loan Booking Analyst

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Commercial Loan Booking Analyst for a consulting opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Review commercial loan documentation packages for completeness and accuracy.
• Validate AI-generated loan boarding and closing data against source loan documents.
• Ensure all required documentation is present for Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loans.
• Verify key loan information including borrower details, rates, terms, amortization schedules, loan types, and documentation requirements.
• Identify missing documents, data discrepancies, and exceptions within loan packages.
• Review AI-generated loan booking checklists and confirm accuracy of extracted information.
• Partner with loan closers and operations teams to resolve documentation gaps and data issues.
• Document findings and provide feedback to improve AI-driven loan booking and closing processes.
• Support quality assurance testing and validation efforts for loan operations automation initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Commercial Loan Operations, Loan Closing, Loan Documentation, Loan booking, or Loan Processing.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lending documentation and loan booking processes.
• Experience reviewing commercial loan packages for completeness and compliance.
• Familiarity with CRE and C&I lending products.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in loan documentation and system data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with commercial loan booking systems.
• Previous quality assurance, testing, or process improvement experience is a plus.
• Remote role.
