Sr. Project Manager / Digital Banking

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Senior Model Development Analyst for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of banking projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

• Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve challenges to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, timelines, and key deliverables.

• Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring all resources are aligned and working effectively to meet project objectives.

• Continuously improve project management processes, ensuring the adoption of best practices and efficient workflows to increase project success rates.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and post-project reviews.

• Ensure projects adhere to relevant banking regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.

• Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure that projects are completed within financial constraints.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field. PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification preferred.

• 5+ years of project management experience within the banking or financial services industry. 
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects under tight timelines in a highly regulated environment.

• Strong understanding of banking operations, including retail banking, corporate banking, risk management, and compliance.

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
