Treasury Operations Senior Business Analyst, Systems Implementation

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Treasury Operations Senior Business Analyst, System Implementation for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Manage data mapping and working with IT teams on requirements, design, and testing of the end-to-end enterprise data warehouse solution.
• Lead the build out of a “proof of concept” solution in parallel with the enterprise data warehouse solution that will be used to validate data mapping and transformations from source systems into Transcend.
• Define use cases for Transcend across Treasury Operations, Corporate Treasury, and Risk.
• Lead configuration and testing of Transcend environment on behalf of the operations and business users.
• Lead requirements and design of any downstream reporting needed from Transcend to support Treasury Operations, Corporate Treasury, and Risk teams.

Qualifications:

• Experience leading the data mapping for a system implementation used for fixed income and trade reporting at a financial services firm.
• 5+ of Business Analyst experience working with a commercial bank or financial services firm.  Includes experience with system implementations, detailed data mapping, business and functional requirements design; data analytics using Excel and/or SQL.
• Strong understanding of fixed income securities (Treasuries, MBS, ABS, Corporate Bonds).  Knowledge of fixed income accounting and experience with fixed income accounting applications (TPG, Aladdin) and with BNY-Nexen, Bloomberg, Refinitiv.
• Proven ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and solutions.
• Experience using SQL, SAS, Python, and other tools used to query data and support ETL processing.
• Experience building reports and BI visualizations using tools like Microsoft SSRS, Crystal Reports, Microsoft PowerBI, or Tableau.
