Project Manager

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Project Manager for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for partnering with LOB/Operations/ET, journey, agile, and steering partners in understanding strategic opportunities for efficiency and new offerings, as well as managing resulting initiatives through Discovery & Analysis and Implementation phases of the Project Management Lifecycle.
• Responsible for managing a project team of resources that matrix to the effort from various areas within the company
• Aility to motivate and manage a group of resources assigned to a given project or work effort is inclusive of responsibilities
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally as well in written form.
• Extensive banking industry knowledge a plus
• Extensive understanding of general technology, systems, and data schemas
• Knowledge of Business Process Reengineering, Project Management, AGILE Frameworks, Risk Management.
• Knowledge and exposure to specialized technical skills in an information technology discipline, including application development, data analytics, technical testing and quality assurance, and/or technical operations including end user support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor (4-year college) degree preferred.
• Five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Microsoft Professional Suite.
• Spreadsheet software.
• Presentation Software.
• Visio, Jira/Agile, Clarity CAPPM preferred.
• Certifications such as PMP, Agile, ITIL preferred.
