Sr. Project Manager, Payments & Products Strategy

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager, Payments & Products Strategy for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the CFS project and product pipeline, including prioritization, documentation, and governance of deliverables
• Lead end-to-end execution of complex payment and integration initiatives, including scope, timelines, resources, testing, and budgets
• Drive development and delivery of integrated payment solutions across bank platforms, partnering with product, technology, and business teams
• Partner with clients to identify market needs, gather insights, and shape viable product solutions
• Support development and execution of CFS strategic roadmap, including business case development, investment planning, and progress reporting
• Represent CFS initiatives to executive committees, preparing presentations and managing financials including budget, expenses, and revenue projections
• Collaborate with internal teams, and other stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and track performance
• Lead risk assessment efforts in partnership with Risk teams, ensuring compliance and governance across products and initiatives
• Conduct industry, vendor, and competitive research to inform strategy, identify partnership opportunities, and support innovation
• Support business development efforts by evaluating client needs, enhancing solutions, and contributing to sales and relationship expansion

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work-related experience. 
• 10-15 years of Banking Experience (comparable experience in Payment Industry or FinTech verticals)
• 7-10 Years of experience in the Commercial Bank and/or Payments Industry
• Proven experience with API’s, ERP’s and Integrated Corporate Banking
• Experience in an Operational and/or Product organizations
• Proven experience in working relationships with Commercial Customers, Matrix organizations and in a Highly Regulated environment
