CRE Construction Closer
Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a CRE Construction Closer for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.
Responsibilities:
- Review loan approvals and closing documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with terms, policies, and borrower information.
- Coordinate with counsel and internal partners to manage closing checklists, documentation, and loan exceptions.
- Oversee construction-related requirements, including budgets, draw requests, consultant reviews, and funding approvals.
- Partner with lenders, borrowers, attorneys, and third parties to ensure timely and accurate loan closings and disbursements.
- Monitor loan compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and third-party agreements (e.g., leases, insurance, title).
- Support Relationship and Portfolio Managers by maintaining loan systems, tracking project performance, and facilitating risk control throughout the loan lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- College degree
- 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education
- Experience in banking, construction and/or commercial real estate.
