Project Manager – Banking & Financial Services
Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Project Manager – Banking & Financial Services for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate project activities across banking and financial services initiatives.
- Partner with business, technology, compliance, audit, and operations teams to manage project execution and delivery.
- Drive project planning, status tracking, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
- Support initiatives related to Commercial Banking, Treasury, Audit, Regulatory, or operational transformation programs.
- Facilitate meetings, document action items, and ensure alignment across multiple workstreams.
- Monitor project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- Prepare executive-level reporting, project updates, and governance materials.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic business priorities.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of Commercial Banking, Treasury Management, Audit, Risk, or Regulatory environments.
- Experience managing cross-functional enterprise initiatives.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.
