Treasury & Commercial Banking Project Manager

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Treasury & Commercial Banking Project Manager for a consultant opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Lead integration projects across large-scale banking merger initiatives
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams associated with merger integration, conversion activities, and post-conversion stabilization efforts
• Partner with Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, Operations, Technology, Risk, and vendor teams to ensure successful execution of integration milestones and deliverables
• Coordinate and oversee projects tied to conversion and integrations activities
• Drive end-to-end project management activities including project planning, governance, issue resolution, status reporting, dependency management, and executive communication
• Support operational workflows related to PrecisionLender, Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), check outsourcing, ACH processing, lockbox, biller services, wires, commercial deposits, and Extended Account Analysis (XAA).
• Coordinate closely with leadership, PMO teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure alignment across integration initiatives
• Track project financials, workstream deliverables, resource allocations, and dependency impacts across multiple integration initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field preferred
• 7+ years of project management experience within banking or financial services environments
• Prior experience supporting bank merger integrations, conversions, or large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives strongly preferred
• Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools including Agile, Waterfall, Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certifications preferred
• Atlanta, Columbus, Nashville, Charlotte preferred. Will consider other locations with the ability to be onsite periodically.
