Project Manager Risk and Compliance

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Project Manager Risk and Compliance for a consulting opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Lead integration projects across large-scale banking merger initiatives
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams associated with merger integration, conversion activities, and post-conversion stabilization efforts
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Legal ensure successful execution of integration milestones and deliverables
• Coordinate and oversee projects tied to conversion and integrations activities
• Partner with Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Technology to ensure successful integration execution and regulatory compliance
• Drive end-to-end project management activities including project planning, governance, issue resolution, status reporting, dependency management, and executive communication
• Coordinate closely with leadership, PMO teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure alignment across integration initiatives
• Track project financials, workstream deliverables, resource allocations, and dependency impacts across multiple integration initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Risk Management, Legal Studies, or related field preferred

• 7+ years of project management experience within banking or financial services
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels
• Proficiency with project management tools including Agile, Waterfall, Jira, Microsoft Office, Smartsheet or related applications
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, CRCM, CAMS, or related certifications preferred
• Atlanta, Columbus, Nashville, Charlotte preferred. Will consider other locations with the ability to be onsite periodically.
