Investor Relations Analyst

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Investor Relations Analyst for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include  earnings preparation, investor events, and board-level reporting
• Participate in meetings with analysts and investors.
• Support preparation of earnings scripts, investor FAQs, and board updates. Provide strategic input on investor messaging and positioning
• Conduct peer benchmarking, valuation analysis, and investor perception studies.
• Lead planning and execution of investor events as well as partner with Legal, Finance, and Communications to ensure compliance and consistency across all IR materials.
• Support development of investor presentations and integrated messaging.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years in investor relations, equity research, strategic finance or relevant roles in financial services
• Experience in payments, fintech, or financial services preferred but not required 
• Understanding of capital markets and buy/sell-side dynamics
• Strong analytical skills with experience in valuation, benchmarking, and financial modeling
• Proficiency in IR platforms, CRM tools, and financial databases (e.g., FactSet, AlphaSense, Bloomberg, Nasdaq IR Insight)
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
