Loan Documentation Specialist

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Loan Documentation Specialist for a consultant opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare loan documents for renewals, extensions, and modifications using LaserPro or similar loan documentation systems.
• Ensure loan terms are accurately reflected and establish/maintain ticklers for covenant, financial statement, insurance, and other servicing requirements.
• Coordinate with lending, credit, operations, and servicing teams to resolve documentation exceptions and outstanding requirements.
• Support post-conversion documentation cleanup and manage preparation workflows to meet service-level expectations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in loan documentation, loan operations, commercial lending support, or credit administration within a banking or financial services environment.
• Ability to interpret loan approvals, credit structures, and supporting documentation to accurately prepare loan documents.
• Multi-core banking system experience (Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry, etc.) preferred.
