Security Systems Operator

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Security Systems Operator for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Support daily card access, Branch electronic alarm and video surveillance monitoring across all Synovus-Pinnacle locations across the Southeastern/Mid-Atlantic area of the US.
• Respond to, track and document calls received in the Security Operations Center via a daily shift activity report (maintained by Synovus-Pinnacle)
• Participates in monthly/quarterly alarm testing of all money points at branches monitored by Corporate Security.  Participates in annual alarm testing of all alarm points at branches monitored by Corporate Security. 
• Conducts building security checks and inspections by walking through facilities to ensure security and safety.  Open and closes facilities.
• Performs other monitoring or building security related duties as required.
• Resources must:
• Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to respond to stressful situations with confidence while remaining calm.
• Have the ability to interact with varying levels of the organization (standard employee through executive level leadership).
• Display strong PC skills with proficiency using Microsoft Office software products including MS Word, Excel and Teams.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Have experience working with teams.
• Possess HS Diploma or equivalent
• Be able to sit for long periods of time, have no physical limitations that preclude climbing/descending stairs, standing, walking multiple floors within a building and can react swiftly in an emergency requiring physical exertion
• While assigned to a permanent set shift, be prepared to work in an overtime capacity to support staffing as needed, as well as being available to work overtime to support leave requests.

• Makes decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles.
• Servant mentality when considering the meeting of expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
• Experience working in a call center is preferred.
• Working with C-Cure, Mastermind (MAS), Manitou, March Networks, Verint VI applications is a plus!
• CPR/AED certification preferred.
• Eligible for weapons carry licensing through State of Georgia POST certification standards preferred.
