Business Analyst / Project Coordinator – HR & Payroll System Conversion

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Business Analyst / Project Coordinator – HR & Payroll System Conversion for a consultant opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities including planning, test case/script creation, execution tracking, and issue management
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements across HR, Payroll, IT, and vendor teams
  • Develop current-state and future-state process maps to support HR and payroll system conversion initiatives
  • Track cross-functional dependencies, risks, action items, and decision logs to ensure project milestones are achieved
  • Perform HR/payroll data analysis, validation, and harmonization activities to support system conversion readiness
  • Assist with cutover planning, conversion readiness, go-live support, and post-implementation stabilization activities
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and coordination across business, technical, and third-party vendor teams
  • Support project management and project coordination activities in a fast-paced enterprise transformation environment

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, including project coordination or project management support responsibilities
  • Strong experience with requirements gathering, business process documentation, and stakeholder management
  • Experience supporting large-scale system implementations, integrations, conversions, or enterprise transformation initiatives
  • Hands-on experience coordinating and managing UAT activities across multiple business and technical stakeholders
  • Experience working with HRIS, payroll, or enterprise HR systems; payroll conversion experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities and ambiguity
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, or similar project management and reporting tools
  • Banking, financial services, or other regulated-industry experience preferred
  • Experience with ADP EV6, Workforce Now, M&A integrations, or LMS/talent systems is a plus
