Senior Change Management Lead

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Senior Change Management Lead for a consultant opportunity with a financial services client.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead change management initiatives supporting operational transformation and merger integration programs.
  • Build and implement a formal change management framework, establishing scalable governance, reporting, and repeatable processes where none currently exist.
  • Synthesize inputs from testing, governance, and L&D into a single, holistic view of changes and impacts.
  • Evaluate business processes end-to-end, identifying cross-functional dependencies, communication gaps, and opportunities for improved alignment.
  • Act as a leader in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while effectively aligning various stakeholders and maintaining focus on execution.
  • Communicate project status, key decisions, risks, and upcoming milestones clearly to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience leading enterprise change management initiatives, with significant experience supporting banking mergers, integrations, or large-scale transformations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of change management disciplines, including governance, business process documentation, UAT/validation coordination, risk management, and organizational readiness.
  • Demonstrated success building change management practices, frameworks, and playbooks from scratch.
  • Proven ability to align and communicate across executive leadership and cross-functional teams while navigating complex organizational dynamics.
  • Experience operating within complex, siloed organizational structures — knows how to connect dots others won’t.
  • Prosci/ADKAR, CCMP, PMP, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
