Loan Servicing Specialist

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist for a consultant opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Support the reconciliation of cash payments for participation loans.
• Support post-close loan servicing activities while maintaining data integrity.
• Monitor and reconcile daily loan servicing transactions, researching, and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Partner with internal business units to support payment processing, quarter-end activities, and other commercial lending operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial loan servicing, loan operations, or participation loan servicing within a financial institution.
• Experience processing payments and performing reconciliations is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of loan servicing platforms such as ASFVision, Loan IQ, ACBS, or AFS Level III.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across operations and lending teams.
• Roles are based in Atlanta, Birmingham, or Charlotte with opportunity to be remote.
• Ability to work a 6–9-month contract.
